I understand. While I have plenty of disagreements with Sanders, the biggest one I suspect (aside from just economics generally) is the belief that the problem with politics is the money.

The problem with politics is the same as the problem with people in general -- self interest pretty much guides everything we do and politicians are no different.

If you want to take the money out of politics it isn't the Koch Bros we need to worry about (after all, they're spending money and how is it working out for them?)

It is the money the Clinton's have made since leaving politics, the money Nancy Pelosi has made while being a politician and the millionaires Barack Obama has created on the backs of taxpayers while he has been in office (which will ultimately mean wealth for him when he leaves the presidency).

There are a few honest brokers, and Sanders is one of them as of now. The problem is he's stupid. The honest brokers running from the Right are smart people -- Trump, Fiorina, Carson. The rest are politicians and while they may all have good intentions but I'm not convinced.
