The point that you make about the pressure from margin calls causing liquidations in other mining stocks is certainly a possible scenario. As for myself, I shall tread very gingerly into what might still be a minefield.

A couple more weeks like this one and utilities may suddenly look like very attractive to a lot more people--if you get my drift.

I have done my share of this too and option writing seems almost conservative compared to the price action in some of the juniors this week:)
