Does anyone have any info on direct purchase of MSFT? Are shares sold in a DRIP?

I can't afford this stock!!! But, I MUST have it!!!!

Open an account at a discount broker, buy whatever you can afford (10, 20, 30 whatever shares), and pay $8 (Suretrade) or $20 (E*Trade) commission. Why screw around with a DRIP plan where it's easy to buy but a pain in the butt to sell?

Check gomez.com for ratings of discount brokers. Suretrade doesn't rank very highly so maybe E*Trade is the better choice.
