Bill Clinton did not choose to invade Iraq.

Also, Bill Clinton supported the UN which lead to the inspections that were working and it turns out, correct in their findings.

Of course the hypnotized right still believes Saddam had all that WMD. Bush joked about the fact that it did not exist. And the Bushies didn't know a Sh'ite from a Sunni or an anti-Saddam Kurd vs. Turkey. Or a reagan "freedom Fighter" from the Taliban... They just uncorked Middle East hell with US soldiers in the middle, of groups bombing and shooting each other, that we often supplied.

Clinton did targeted bombing for years; it was a deterrence; NOBODY sane wanted to see an invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Until Bush43/Cheney.
