Steve, Badger and all,

Yes...have looked at Printrak Int.
They are an afis company, one of the few who don't use
IDX engines or cameras. (I think they have in the past)

I have three concerns:

1. It is our opinion from conversations with people close to the
field that the afis market is very competitive and that afis supply
companies may be having a hard time making money ....remember
that the Afis market moves at the speed of government.

2. After reading thier literature , I tend to believe that they have
been riding the Louisiana contract for a long time and things
might not be quite as onwards and upwards as you might think.
Read carefully the material....You can call them for it or visit web sight. I must say they have a great investor relations dept. But thats not why we buy a stock.

3. Too dependant on the big order. IDX has the footings set
to grow in many different areas quarter after quarter....I just don't
get the same feeling about AFIS.

FYI....afis= automated fingerprint identification system

Mike..... I thought it was us in LA...It is a good sign that it was
this system they decided to expand...Would love to know more..
Who are the bidders? When will they close it out?
Would anyone out there know someone in the Cal State Welfare
Dept.? Would be fun to know...Should be high profile.

Hope this helps bg
