Parducci bottles up some real swill sometimes with the same label as their varietal wines but they are blends I think of this and that and are extremely uneven, to be kind. My little Italian deli buys huge amounts of this stuff to sell at $1.99 per bottle for everyone to make into wine vinegar. I tasted some of this stuff once in the store and it seemed very good, especially at this giveaway price so I took home a case to cook with but it wasn't even appropriate for that. Might be the same thing. I'm the one who commented on drinking wines too young. Once you drink a properly aged cabernet, you start to understand what all the poetic descriptions are about.
