Further notes from the ABTX meeting: They plan to continue acquisitions with cash and the issuance of shares which were authorized at the meeting to 50 million. John Francis stated that they would most likely not issue any further shares until the stock price was 8-10. ABTX has been selected to present at the Dain-Bosworth (sp?) "Feed the World" conference for institutional investors in Minneapolis in June. ABTX was very excited about being one of sixteen companies to present at this meeting which should increase their exposure greatly. Had a long talk with Kathy Gillespie who feels that the economies of scale are coming along nicely but she cannot push too fast for fear of alienating existing customers and suppliers. She wears an operator headset all the time since she is constantly on the phone. ABTX has already made some contacts with the Ukraine for supplying seed but the problem is that the farmers there have no money. The Ukraine would like to either swap seed for chemical fertilizer or get the seed for free and then promise a portion of the crop. Johnny Thomas stated that he is 70% sure within the year and 99.999999% sure within 2 years that they will have signed another major distibution contract with Monsanto. He feels ABTX is very undervalued compared with the other four publicly traded seed companies. The charts he provided in his talk are in the Gilford Securities January update. Make sure you call ABTX and get both the January and February Gilford Securities updates since they do contain a lot of info. Overall I was very impressed with ABTX and they discussed all topics openly and freely. I told John Francis about the Silicon Investor ABTX thread and he sounded very enthusiastic about participating. If we don't see a post from his soon, I'll call him and remind him.
