It's getting close to Christmas, don't give up hope R. Langford. Like you I bought high-- average cost $.51, just two cents above the recommended buy level by John Kaiser in his latest endorsement of Vulcan.

I am hopeful about Vulcan not because of John Kaiser but because of the potential of the west coast oil (Newfoundland) and the diamond play in Alberta. Both plays seem very promising and I see virtually little downside once a shift occurs in the resource sector. I believe that should occur soon - after the tax write-off malaise.

Once "the pendulum swings as the pendulum should" (are you young enough to know RM and that song?) toward the resource sector combined with positive action in either the diamond or oil play our current despair may well be no more. Lets hope before the melting snow of Spring.

So as not to overdo my support for Vulcan stock, I refer you to an earlier post by Len Hyne's. I support the sentiment of this post--
