You know what is really sick. Bush was mocking the Democrats in the 2000 debates by suggesting that they were misusing our military on idealistic "nation building" missions. That sort of talk really struck chords with the rightwing military types. All the while Bush and his neocon goons were planning the two biggest nation building efforts since WW2, namely Afghanastan and Iraq. What a bunch of scoundrels, and people actually support this crap. Amazing!
