I wouldn't be offended because it is a contadiction of terms. Earlier this year Sen. Bobby Byrd referred to some whites as "wiggers" meaning white niggers. Coming from a former KKK Grand Master (of some sort) that got my attention. Had he not been a Democrat he would have been down the road.

I also disagree that the NAACP is an authority on racial matters except that they are one of the most racist organizations in America. The officials of this
organization of "Colored People" (itself a racist term) mostly hate white people.
This is not generally true of the rank and file members.

To get back to the subject why can a black refer to another black as a nigger without any consequences? The answer is that political correctness is tearing away at the fabric of American culture. Unless we can express what we believe is the truth we are doomed as an outpost of Western Civilization.
