Hawk-Their religion demands of them certain things. IMO the "good ones" as you call them are only that way because they are sitting in the background just waiting to see how things are going. Those people have undergone the same indoctrination as all the others. IMO they are just timid right now, but will jump on the bandwagon if they think the militant ones have a chance of winning.

It's not a question of convenience to say the Crusades shouldn't be a part of the equation of what is going on today, it's a question of at what point does ancient history not become the things you look at, and start looking at the present?

I wouldn't disagree with you if you were to say that in the late 1800, the early 1900 the Christians went to Arabia and slaughtered them in the name of Jesus, slaughtered them in the goal of forced conversion, but to me, using what happened 1000 years ago just doesn't apply for comparative purposes.
I am not advocating any religion as far as saying well...lets get rid of islam and change them to xxxxxxxxxx.

That's not my goal. I don't care really what religion a person is. However, after reading what the muslim religion stands for, I am of the opinion that it is a brutal, murderous religion, and that the free world must act now and do something about it.

I try to quote from sources so that people can see that I am not just making these things up, if people don't want to read them, that's not my problem. IMO, it's theirs. They are the ones that are basing their opinions on "well I feel that way because", not me.

Show me the great advances that have come from islamic countries, the scientific discoveries, the medical breakthroughs, the space explorations. I know they discovered or invented algebra, my contention is that it would have been discovered anyway, and if the only thing that people can point to are things they did 1000 years ago, gosh... what happened since??? They were on mental lunch break? That's what the world has to look forward to under islam?? every 1000 years or so, someone gets an idea?
