Fore's network equipment was used to build Time Warner's Roadrunner interactive 2-way cable modem network. I'm on it right now. It works great.

I'm certain, now that AT&T just bought TCI, that TCI has plenty of cash to build out there 2-way interactive HFC (Hybrid fibre coaxial) network. Fore will hopefully get a lot of new contracts for equipment for an ATM based HFC buildout. If not from AT&T, maybe others. AT&T put a big stamp of approval for the coaxial cable solving the bandwidth problem into the home.

So I think the move up may have been for fundamental reasons(IMHO). A lot of equipment companies that have any exposure to the cable companies HFC buildout moved up today.

Hope this helps,
MikeM(From Florida)
