TCL Mobile Communication Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of TCL Communication, has launched its newly developed mobile phone 999D, Chinanetnews reports.
The new handset has received the title "top-class home made mobile phone" granted by the China Youth, Scientific and Technology Daily, People's Daily and other influential media in China in the "1st China's Mobile Phone Consumption Trend Survey".
Self-developed by TCL Mobile Communication, TCL 999D possesses multi-functions like simplified Chinese input mode, supper memory and STK intelligent service. 999DW, the advanced model of 999D, features the leading WAP technology and preserves the Bluetooth Data joint. Experts noted that TCL999D has made its debut as the 1st generation high quality product in the homemade mobile phone market, which has paved a new road for the breakthrough of home made mobile phones.
The new mobile phone has been already promoted in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen with a market price between 2,800 and 3,000. Now, TCL999D has received a first order of 880,000 sets from European countries and the US.
