Hi Dennis, Regarding the figures you chose to compare RAIN and WAMA, there has been a dramatic change in the latest annual EPS for Watermarc in the 4 days since your post, since their 4th quarter results were released on Monday. EPS has gone from -.69 to -.02 for FY'96. Of course what's more important than what happened in the past is what is expected happen in the future, and this change in figures is just one indication of the dramatic turnaround that is taking place at WAMA. By the way, RAIN certainly has some very impressive figures, including their terrific debt to equity of zero.
I'm just a beginner on the net. I haven't been able to find any URLs, in fact I just had to ask a friend what an URL is. At any rate, I looked up Watermarc on Yahoo and couldn't find any significant info on the company. However, you can get lots of info on WAMA by calling them at 713-783-0500 and asking them to mail it to you.
I've been investing in stocks for many years, and tend seek considerably undervalued small and microcap companies that are little-known, with a small or non-existant following by analysts. Among the many things I look for are apparently good growth prospects, significant ownership by company officers, and a lack of sizable insider selling. It's been many years since I followed a stock that is anywhere near this low in price. You might well find Watermarc to be a rather boring company compared to the sensational Rainforest Cafe (which I would LOVE to visit), but WAMA stock is, I think, very exciting because it's so extremely undervalued.
Thanks for your mild interest in Watermarc. Best wishes to RAIN! |
