What Media Bias? XIII

Blogs for Bush

NRO's The Corner notes the latest bit of media bias:

<<<

The top story in the Washington Post today is headlined "Cheney Defends Bush Appointments." It's about how the Bush administration is trying to promote "White House loyalists and supporters of the Iraq war to key diplomatic posts." You know, as opposed to White House disloyalists and antiwar protestors, which apparently would be a bit less controversial to the Post's writers and editors.

Oh, my! The horrors! A President appointing like-minded people to Administration positions; who ever heard of such a thing?

This is yet another example of what we on the right mean by media bias: the appointment, by a center/right President, of center/right people is considered somehow dark and foreboding to the MSM. Meanwhile, if it were (shudder!) President Kerry appointing like-minded people to office, the Post would likely be lauding the "breath of fresh air" in DC...
