To all: As things stand now, we've got a short overhang of 3.6 million shares, in a stock whose daily average volume during the past 60 days is probably under 250,000, and which has had just one trading day in excess of a million shares. Does that suggest to anyone that it could take a while for the shorts to cover, and that they might be sitting a while longer? Another thought: over on the MF borad for
Cymer I posted a series of PEG numbers for 22 of the 36 companies
mentioned in the IBD article of Nov. 3. CYMI was .945....the range for the group was from .245 to over 3.0. (Peg's based on current year)
Does this suggest to anyone that CYMI might still be "fairly valued"
and thus the downward pressure might continue for a while lower?
My finger's also on the trigger on this one, but a move into the teens would not suprise me. At a price of 13, the PEG goes to .565...at which point MF would suggest it's become undervalued. That would be a PE of 15-16. Observations anyone? Dovetailer.
