I think it's a great idea <G> Merrill on Comm ICs : Merrill Lynch says that while inventories for communication IC companies fell by a greater than expected 17-22% in Q3, they are still 30% higher than normal and won't return to normal until after Q4; expects most companies to post operating losses for the next 4-6 quarters; intermediate-term risk/reward for stocks remains unfavorable.
