Mr. Market just shot up after Fed Chair Powell said that the Fed was not considering a .75 rate hike and they thought that the economy is strong enough to handle 50 basis point hikes which they hope will bring the inflation rate down to 2% and the labor market in balance. IOW, a soft landing. The S&P went from about 4164 at 2:35 to about 4247 currently (at 2:57). Huge move.
