Seniors, parents of kids under 26 years old, people with pre-existing conditions, the poor in states with good governors, the Medicare program itself, and people looking for jobs in health care also won. I wanted, and want, to take the insurance companies out of there by going to single payer. Drug companies also did well. I support this... The most recent poll, released today, found that an overwhelming number of Americans would support letting the government negotiate with Medicare to rein in drug prices in that program (83%), with 72% saying it would be effective.
