TO All: Going long on Novl?

I've actually been contemplating going long on Novl for a few reasons....

1. The charts seem to show some very strong support at around the 9-10 dollar areas...specifically, I've seen Novl drop to as low as an ask price of 9 5/8 and quickly be pushed back up to the 9 3/4 - 9 7/8 where its been holding for the last few days days...Downside potential may be another 10-12%...After all, 3 dollars or so a share + 5-6 dollars for Novl's Tech. and current market share seems a fair price at the moment...

2. I actually expect that Novl will have a new CEO before the April stockholders meeting...I doubt Marengi and boys will want to go before
shareholders without a new CEO...I believe, Marengi wants OUT badly, yet doesn't want to damage whatever reputation he may still have by abandoning the ship when its down, so to speak....He may want to be "let go"... by the new CEO...both factors (Marengi out, New CEO, {hopefully someone with some clout} I think, will be positive for share price....

3. If anything, I will wait until after Greenspan finishes to see how markets react, perhaps I may be able to pick up some share for a bit lower....IF no Ceo by April's meeting, will sell or buy put protection since I think the outcome will be negative.

4. Recent good news parallels...Bay Networks announcing new CEO, stock price went from 18-19 to about 26...(although its back down to the 19-20 range)....Bad news parallels...Qdeck latest stockholders meeting...seems stockholders didn't like what they heard, and Qdeck lost about 15 percent of stock price the same day on high volume..(haven't checked it out lately)

Any comments?
