As Patty Murray pointed out, it is spend baby spend. If I do not spend it, they will not reduce expenditures they will look for another spot to spend it.

Whenever the question is posed about the increases in tax revenues, people that want 3% of the tax payers to pay more and the 97% to continue with the Bush cuts are not looking at the balance sheet and projections...that is not the answer. But, democrats must strategically go after the "wealthy" because that is their political strategy for votes. It has nothing to do with the budget and resolving the deficit.
