sometimes I find that some bad data gets stored in my browser with regards to ETRADE... simply deleting the history and cache doesn't work... instead I have to shut down my PC and reboot and then bring the browser back in and then sometimes it works.... closing the browser and reopening doesn't work either...

i have to reboot.. maybe a registry problem of some sort when working with ETRADE and my browser... who knows... usually you can tell if their server is down cuz when you try to get a broker or use the automated system it's busy! Busy because the whole ETRADE world is screaming mad and trying to trade via phone instead of the web.. which defeats the whole purpose of etrade and why i even bother using them...

still the prices are good and when it works, i usually get pretty good confirmations and fills... USUALLY ; if someone else steps in and offers the same price and NO LIMITS per share for OTC stocks.. I'll be first in line.
