For a second there, I thought you might be talking about my car.... then realized I hadn't mentioned it yet....We spent over $1000 today, and didn't have any fun doing it....This AM was to install a new faucet in the kitchen sink, and repair the leak (BIG one underneath the sink...now everything is all over the kitchen that was underneath, while things dry out) Then after that, had a wonderful luncheon with super good friends of 44+ years at the Hyatt, then to protest over at City Hall (some idiot wants to get rid of the Christmas tree there, we like it and thought we should say so,) then went back to the car, put the window down, then tried to get it back up..........scccccccchhrrrrrrrunch....

Long story, but had to leave the car at the dealership while a motor and a chain for the window drive comes in (hopefully tomorrow), and then get it installed....Bill for that little bunch of fun is someplace north of $575...

That would have bought several bottles of perfume, or all sorts of wonderful other things.....

It's ALWAYS something, isn't it/
