Joe,

According to 1Q, Novell had:

10% growth in server revenue

34% growth in GroupWise revenue

$100 million positive cash flow (cash went from $1B to $1.1B, due to operating activities)

flat operating and administrative costs

This does not sound like a company on the verge of collapse to me. Let's be honest, Novell is (gasp!) a profitable company. It sounds to me like you guys are just all lathered up because the stock is down, and not really looking at the whole picture. By the way, I am an employee who was offered a job with Intel (which included stock options), but I believe in Novell. I'm sure some of you would call me stupid, but so be it.

By the way, would you be just as upset if management was doing the same things its doing now, but the stock was at $25? Somehow, I don't think so.

My comments are my own.

James K.
