This should give us some insight into Intel's mobile phone plans. Remember, Intel already has Flash memory and low power consumption yet powerful XScale processors. The DSP is the missing piece of the mobile puzzle. Having DSP technology makes Intel the only company capable of making a complete phone on a chip.
