Bigbull, WSJ article on "OPEC market share worries".

Ah yes.... the MOALO (mother of all lame arguments)

This tired old whore seems to get dragged out every time it's convenient for the consumers. That fact doesn't surprise me nearly as much as the fact that people seem to believe it time and time again.

OPEC capacity is all but tapped out, and I'll bet the sheiks are looking forward to getting the same amount of cash while working their fields a little less hard. Their attitude this time around seems to be re-tool the western tax regime that's making several times more on every barrel than OPEC, and then we'll talk about hurting our own economies for the sake of propping up the western ones.

The only market share issues OPEC has to worry about are West Africa, and one of them - Nigeria is already OPEC. The other is the FSU, and that's nothing to worry about any time soon - kind of like being chased by the mummy in the movie of the same name.

Sharp

Interesting times on the naz, I'm actually dipping a toe or two on tech stocks - something I haven't done for years. Wouldn't mind getting more for significantly less either, which is quite likely as I always seem to be too early on such things.
