You are never going to have meaningful reform so long as the Rs continue to starve the country's revenue sources

The idea that the nation is starved of revenue is a fantasy of yours.

Also it doesn't matter what tax rates you put in place. Top tax rates of single digit percentages, or of 90 percent, have never been able to sustain enough revenue to cover how much entitlements and interest on the debt are going to cost all by themselves.

This country had SS, Medicare, and was fighting a war in Vietnam and building an interstate system, and was still able to reduce its debt.

Debt went up when the Vietnam war was combined with the steady expansion of Social Security.and the 1st decade of Medicare and Medicaid.
