Looks like we got GM too.

PeopleSoft lands two big contracts with Boeing, GM
PLEASANTON, Calif., Feb 3 (Reuters) - PeopleSoft Inc (PSFT - news) said on Tuesday it received big contracts to supply its human resources and financial software to Boeing Co and General Motors Corp [NYSE:GM - news].
Boeing, the world's biggest aircraft manufacturer, will use PeopleSoft's software to track its 235,000 employees while GM, the largest U.S. auto maker, will use it to track its 650,000 workers. Boeing also purchased PeopleSoft's accounting software.

Terms of neither transaction was disclosed, but they are significant contracts, PeopleSoft executives said. Based on the latest contracts and other huge contracts, PeopleSoft is gaining on its competitors in the so-called enterprise software business.

''We believe we are now No. 2 only behind SAP AG,'' said Aneel Bhusri, PeopleSoft senior vice president for marketing strategy.

PeopleSoft writes computer programs that help big companies manage their human resources files and finances. The company also sells software that keeps track of manufacturing operations.

Its software is gaining favor with companies that are dumping their internally developed software for pre-written packaged programs that can run on personal computer networks.
