BirdDog, if I may jump in...in this environment, a discount may make the difference between a sale that is booked and one that is postponed. If you'll allow me to extrapolate from what I'm seeing in my own business, even if tco is lower than emc, right now customers have the power and are using it to squeeze suppliers for a deal. It's simply a sign of the times....ntap has plenty of inventory they need to get rid of.
