The only way that Ukraine can hold itself together is to compete with Moscow for "hearts and minds", but being prepared to consider other forms of "motivation" for those ethnicities that attempt to secede.

They simply cannot permit Moscow to start issuing out Russian passports to Ukrainian citizens in Crimea. Should they accept them, they should be deported to Russia.

It could get nasty, but if we fail to confront Russia over Ukraine, we might as well just sit back while they revive their empire and move into Europe and the Mid-East (gotta get that warm water port.. ;0)
