It looks like we mostly agree. Two additional points I would make are:

The argument that there is "lots of $ on the sidelines" waiting to get back in the market is and always has been bogus. Don't believe everything you hear. Money managers' cash positions are approaching all time lows. The "money on the sidelines" will likely stay there as it has for years. Insiders aren't dumping like there's no tomorrow because they believe their stock is going higher.

Secondly, although we are seeing relatively less bullishness lately, we are not yet approaching the mirror image of the bullish sentiment that prevailed during 1999. The VIX would have to hit the high 90s before I would agree with that statement.
