Steve, my timing in the stock market has been horrible. I made some good bucks in prior years---then I felt like God was telling me I was spending too much time in studying charts, etc. So I got out and stayed out for years.
At my wife's urging, I looked into the market again and bought some stuff. I'd have been all right, but as I said earlier, my timing was off and so I bailed out at the wrong time. I don't seem to have the patience to see this stuff through. On paper, I pick pretty good stuff, but when I "jump in" I lose. I am too old to play the "game" any more. We are on a fixed retirement income.
So---the closest I have gotten is playing a game at holiday times with our family called "stock ticker." (ggg)
