I think that there will be a fair number of recommendations like this, Gartner has said almost the same thing. But the initial target of NT5 is more than this high end market, it is also the large installed desktop base, where the goal is to move corporate customers currently using Win9X to NT. These client users will not have the same issues Gartner and Giga are concerned about, since there is no question that NT is more manageable and stable than any of the Win(x or Win3.X products (millions of corporate desktops still use Win3.11 for example). In terms of $$$ this is the real target for NT5.0, the server business will probably be on NT5.X where X is a 1 or a 2.
