Yes, perhaps they have been the smartest of the lot..and they should know what to do..and if they now reverse their entire hedge, I will say they deserve the Nobel prize in economics (or perhaps a prize from MI5 for the best use of financial intelligence). If they are also, at this point, expending significant paper money to attempt to extend their gold reserves, it tends to confirm that gold is about to move, probably GAP, up. Kaplan's site is fantastic and so is the USA Gold site with it's provocative posts from "Another" and "Friend of Another". Between the two, the internet becomes worth it's weight in GOLD. (That raises the amusing question, Does cyberspace have any weight?)
