...in China the incidence of bilirubin is over 60% in infants...

With all due respect for a job well done, Skipard, I seriously doubt that the Chinese market for bilirubin detectors will be important anytime soon. In mainland China, infants are not valued like they are in the US. We are unique here in the level of medical resources we invest in trying to save defective babies. In many parts of the world, people are satisfied with trying again.

I'll be basing my guesses for company valuation on the US and EC prospects with conservative estimates for rate of market penetration. The potential of the company also depends heavily on the business model they choose...will they lease or sell the equipment? Will they charge by the tool, or by the baby? How will they enforce a per-use contract?

Then the big question...Will a healthcare giant buy us out? It look might be very attractive to a Baxter or H-P that already has a marketing network extending into every hospital. It might be cheaper for Kaiser to buy the company than to pay licensing fees for several years.

I'll be listening to Darby on the conference call to see which routes she might consider. In any case, there is still plenty of upside here...I unloaded some promising-but-slow movers to load up on CCSI...
