There are a lot of similarities between Fahrenheit 9/11 and The Passion of the Christ. The marketing is similar, and in both cases people had strong opinions about the movie without having seen it. The Passion also had a lot of political columnists writing their first ever movie reviews (Krauthammer, Safire etc.). I think that will probably also be the case with Fahrenheit (the Hitchens guy has already reviewed it, don't know if he actually saw it).
