Dear JDN: I agree, the SEC, "unfortunately are not known as Speed Demons," but I am really wondering if they will surprise people and try to get to the bottom of this fast.

Taking another look at ML's update this morning, these two sections make me think:

· This is a very broad inquiry and not related to
any specific acquisition, as the SEC is trying to
determine what has caused the drop in the
stock price over the past 2 months.

[and]

· We would stress that the company said this is
not an investigation but an attempt by the
SEC to protect the interest of the investors.

[end of ML cited information]

If the SEC is concerned about the price drop and wants to protect TYC's investors, they will want to address the problem as fast as possible. Any delays I can see would be on the part of TYC itself since it will take them some time to get everything together for the SEC. Since I doubt if TYC was surprised to receive the letter from the SEC, I should think they would have been going over and preparing things already.

Back to digging [in dirt, outside]-

Lynn
