your example is what I see time and time again. There is a system established by some MM's on some stocks. Once you get the feel, which for me took several months, you can usually predict, given a feel for the other market influences how the particular stock is going to be pushed.

WHat I like most about this method is that when I enter the trade, if I am wrong, it is highly unlikely that when it moves against me that I will suffer any large loss. Usually I can get out with 1/8 off. And then since I know the future to a great degree, I just buy a few hundred more shares than I did the 1st time and re-enter the same stock. This makes up for the loss on the 1st trade.

I also never worry about trade costs or hitting some magic number of trades to get some worthless rebate on costs. One bad trade being held because of not wanting to spend the extra ticket charge can wipe out a week of profits.

Penny wise and pound foolish.........can be very costly.
