Sorry, I didn't mean to raise the bad juju thing. I know how that gets to me. The point is, it is probably FINALLY falling out of it's bear flag, and when it does go (not that it is <g>), it will go very quickly. If you try to get cute and catch all the wiggles, you'll get less than if you just sit down, shut up, hold on, and enjoy the ride.

If I would have decided to do that with BRCM and JDSU last Fall, I would have been far better off. Of course, I would have lacked a means of cutting losses and probably never survived the previous two massive short-covering rallies, but the point remains the same.

Don't get too cute. There are n-cubed f*ck-it rallies and distribution-driven manipulations, but only one collapse in this kind of stock. You have to recognize when one wave has ended and another is likely underway. And define what constitutes a defeat for your scenario. Set your definitions to limit your losses, not your profits, and hope that the profit grows to your long-term targets.
