Goutama, RE <The concern of Intel price cuts is out of date. Thanks to 180nm Athlon bin splits. All at or above 800MHZ with 0.1V VCC increase. >

Exactly. I can't agree more.

This concern of Intel price cuts is even less convincing than the concern of inflationary trend in the economy. Intel is losing its pricing power a bit by bit. The only oustanding concern as an AMD long is when this reality is recognized on the street. It's a matter of time. This year it's more likely a tug of war between the two, rather than onslaughter like early last year. In the end of the year, both companies should make shit load of money.

However, AMD stock price will be very volatile this year. It'll provide some opportunities to options trading, IMHO. I was a little too greedy this time:~( Let 10 Jan 40 and 50 Jan 45 expire. Hope we all will do well going forward.

Good luck to your trading. And tip my hat to your efforts on earnings contest and price watch and other very helpful activities.
