I loved Parris Island.

The bowling ally, movie theaters, swimming pools, boating on the intercoastal water way, fishing in all the creeks, pool hall just down the street, the ocean just a few miles away.

My father was the G2 or G5 something, anyway, life as an officers brat is really a good life.

I use to wave at you guys as we drove by on the way to town.
