the El Niño tends to impact weather patterns most strongly in the winter season across North America

during an El Niño the Pacific coastal waters become much warmer than normal [every 2 to 7 years] and unusually heavy precipitation will typically fall

you're doing a koi pond?

I recently bought a property to spec - it was from the estate of a hermit - the land so overgrown you couldn't see the house from the street or walk around the back of the house - as the lot was cleared, I discovered a complex pond system there - 3 interlocking ponds via tunnel like bridges - also an underground piping system that no one can yet figure out

I had wondered why there was 3 HUGE fish tanks in the house

I think they were koi ponds [japanese statuary and stones surrounding the ponds] and he wintered the koi inside, in those tanks
