The problem with Price to Sales ratios with Iomega is that I've never found another stock to compare it to. It has never really traded at a consistent PSR either. Its recent range of PSRs is 1.5 - 6 or so.

IMO, US Robotics offers the best comparison to Iomega (hot selling retail computer peripherals). USR's networking business ads value that Iomega doesn't have; but Iomega has virtually no competition. USRX trades around a 3-4 PSR in a normal market. Iomega around 3-4 on annualized quarterly revenues is reasonable (its now ~ 2.67) IMO.

In the long run its earnings that drive stocks so how useful PSRs are I don't know. Now that Iomega is licensing technology revenues will not tell the entire picture relative to earnings.
