A third party that is conservative and has any success, would split the Republicans and guarantee that the Democrats win. Unless it takes over from Republicans and the Republican party declines to be a very minor third party or just closes up shop, but while that isn't impossible, its unlikely.

....not if done carefully by the right mix of people at the right time in the right way........I have a plan that I've been thinking about a lot. I'll suggest it in time and hope others will expand on it..........there is NO chance of taking back the Republican party from the establishment.
