Thursday February 3, 7:45 am Eastern Time Company Press Release SOURCE: Interface Systems, Inc. Interface Systems to Provide ComGraphics With MyCopy Internet/Intranet Statement Delivery Software ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Interface Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: INTF - news), the leading provider of Legacy-to-Internet technology (L2i(TM)), today announced an agreement to provide ComGraphics, Inc., with its MyCopy(TM) online client statement delivery software. Value of the transaction was not disclosed for competitive reasons.
The agreement marks one of many for Interfaces' Internet/Intranet statement delivery software in the securities brokerage industry, which is a primary target market for Interface.
ComGraphics, (CGI) a Chicago-based computer services company, will use MyCopy to aid brokerage firms in reducing the cost and time associated with the delivery of duplicate client statements to their brokers.
``MyCopy is ideally suited to the brokerage industry, where extensive networks of investment consultants require timely access to thousands of client accounts,' said Robert Nero, CEO and president of Interface. ``We're pleased that a progressive, technology-based company such as CGI has recognized the benefits of MyCopy and plans to offer it to their brokerage customers on a transaction charge basis.'
``Interface's MyCopy software will help our customers reduce internal delivery of client statements from days to hours,' said Bill Dwyer, president and CEO of CGI. ``By eliminating the need for second copies, MyCopy saves our customers time and money. At the same time, our customers will improve their customer service by having the statements available to brokers online where they can be accessed quickly.
``By having an online copy identical to the one mailed to investors, brokers will see an exact copy of the client's statement so that when a client has a question on a statement, they can instantly access the statement, go directly to the page where the client has a question, and help the client immediately,' Dwyer said. ``Brokerage executives will spend less time on the phone answering questions plus they will be providing faster service with more accurate answers.'
Interface is currently working with ComGraphics on implementation at two major brokerage firms.
