CSFB Cuts PC Sales Forecast : Firm reduces worldwide 2001 PC unit growth forecast to 5% from 9% on the belief that Q1 unit shipments could be negative on a year over year basis and unit recovery in the remaining quarters will be more moderate. Expects US unit shipments to be negative for the year, the first year of negative US unit growth in the history of the industry. Believe computer hardware stocks still have 15-20% downside risk but are most likely dead money over the near-term.
