Well, first I am amazed that I missed Rev. Wurmbrand was Jewish. That makes it all the more one of the most astounding Christian stories of our time. Him and brother Andrew.
I still find each and every conversion a complete miracle, and even if I have been instrumental in getting someone there, I am mosre astounded that it actually happened than anyone in the world. I just never get over it. It's SO DIFFICULT TO GET THERE!!! But so absolutely indescribably wonderful after you do. But salvation is a miracle. It really is. For those of us dragged to sunday school and churches early on, most of us don't ever make it, even. I went to Sunday school, Presbyterian missionary recruiting field Girls junior college, was confirmed Episcopalean at 21, and after all that was nearly a primitive pagan revelling in sin until I got saved.
MY salvation still blows me away to comprehend it. How much more difficult for others for whom the concept is not only foreign, but often odious. We're talking MAJOR MIRACLES here. I love it, love it, love it!
Well, seriously, I'm going to die and get to Heaven first if I don't eat. Must go eat. |
