EC and Co.,
OT: Well I'm back from two weeks of exploring points east on the planet, and I can tell you that I am jazzed at how E-Commerce is on the tip of business peoples tongues, everywhere. British Billionaires are gearing up in a colossal fashion. Isreaeli and European "market makers" are buzzing about it, and I can tell you also that Microsoft has just an extraordinary world presence. FWIW, since the onset of the U.S. anti-trust suit against them, Gates has DOUBLED their gross revenues. Pretty remarkable!
The Internet is truly a great equalizer. I stopped in to visit a new account of mine in Reading, England, who bought a huge Kodak Business Imaging System from me, without ever meeting me, and without even speaking to me on the phone! It was all done over the Internet. He visited my web site and the rest is history!
Looks like I haven't missed much excitement on the Wave-Table, but I can't help but notice how our "helpful" friends surface like swamp gas, when the markets dip south. Like our friend, er, Fender-Bender. How bout Effluvia, if it behoove-ya; Oliver Hahn (or was that Jessica North?); and... gee, come to think of it, Crazy Daisy hasn't been conjured up recently... famous last words, huh? Methinks the cowpoke must have sat on his spurs. Mighty grumpy, even for a basher. Can anyone tell me what "YaDa! YaDa!" means? Sounds Russian, but that's a WAG.
I'm going deep sea fishing again this weekend... This time out to George's Bank. I plan to withdraw some Tuna, but some small bill-fish would be nice, too :>]
I suppose I've tread upon enough bandwidth here to summon the objurgators, so I'll retreat to the sunny dock-side, and spark up a Cohiba.
Long and loving it!
Cheers to all,
Wooly |
