Barrons' "Up and Down Wall Street" column by Alan Abelson notes: According to Lon Gerber, the amiable director of Insider Research for Thomson Financial, Corporate America's officers and directors last month bought a grand total of $73 million worth of their stock. At the same time, they unloaded a tidy $2.4 billion worth of their companies' shares. He cites AMGN & DNA for big insider sales; MEDI for insider buying.
