I am seeing a lot of agreement with my POV on the web. American Mind - Oh, Please Sen. John McCain has threatened to intorduce legislation forcing baseball to test its players for drugs. He can claim all he wants that Congress has the constitutional power to do it under the Commerce Clause. He might even be right. But is it appropriate for a Senator to waste his time trying to regulate a sport? By the way I phrased the question, you already know my answer. There are time when McCain can be really good. Like when he campaigned hard for President Bush even though the two don't like each other. Then there are times when McCain looks like a sanctimonious attention seeker.
